Working within a conservation area, and on a very traditional Norfolk flint building, our client wanted to pull together many of the smaller rooms accessing their rear garden into a lobby with utility and WC, a soft seating family space and a better connection to the kitchen which had become very isolated from the rest of the house.
With a sympathetic rear extension this provided my clients with a sympathetic dining space which connected well with the garden but also took the white goods away from the kitchen creating a better social space without the hum of a washing machine.
