My Background

Starting out in the late 90’s I spent many years as part of a design team within a large multi-disciplinary practice working on the commercial projects ranging, in value, from £500,000 to £22m.

From here I was invited to join a traditional Architects’ Practice in Sheringham working on new domestic projects, listed buildings but mostly house renovation schemes by improving the internal layout and the external facade as well as addressing the overall feel of a dwelling which may no longer connect with its site.

Now I run my own practice offering my expertise to homeowners in the local area – tackling architectural projects spanning the full spectrum from loft conversions, home renovation, home extensions or a brand new build.

Residential Specialist in Norfolk

Having worked solely in North Norfolk since 2007 I have formed some strong relationships with Planners, Building Control Officers, Planning specialists, Builders, Estate Agents and many other consultants. I remove the stress from organising all of the technical aspects of your build so that your project runs smoothly and, where necessary, stands the best chance of approval.

I will be with you through every stage of the process, from the initial inception of ideas through to the completion of your project.

Why use an Architect?

Given its status, the title of Architect is protected and only those who have completed and passed a 7-year course set by the RIBA may call themselves an Architect. Learn more about working with an architect

This extended education provided a true depth of knowledge and the training received took me through not only architectural styles and history but also through the many different areas of the construction industry. My 30+ years in the industry along with this initial training means that I have a good understanding of the whole process.

It also comes with the protection of a highly respected professional body, the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and, as I am Chartered, I also answer to the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and work to their strict Code of Conduct
